Two-Headed Giant: The Basics

In this format, you and your teammate function as a single entity. You’ll share a life total, take your turns simultaneously, and coordinate every attack and block to crush the opposition.

The Rules of Engagement

• Shared Life Total: Your team starts with 30 life. If the team hits 0, you’re both out!

• Shared Turn: You and your partner move through phases together. You draw at the same time, attack at the same time, and can talk through every strategic move.

• Deck Building: Each team receives 12 booster packs to build two 40-card decks. You can share your card pool freely to ensure both decks are as synergistic as possible.

• Combat: You attack the opposing team, but your creatures can be blocked by either (or both) opponents.

• One Game Matches: Two-Headed Giant is traditionally a Best-of-One format, so make every spell count!
