WARHAMMER HORUS HERESY : BLOOD AND SNOW

Following the Warmaster’s decisive victory on the Isstvan
worlds, it was becoming clear to both sides that control of
resources and the production of arms and armour would be a key
factor on Horus’ bloody crusade. Small contingents of each of
the 9 traitor legions were dispatched across the galaxy,
targeting key planets responsible not only for the production
of assets, but the harvesting of raw materials. Balor, one of
the many planets in the Ultima Segmentum, was one such planet,
given its status as a mining planet. When the Emperor caught
wind of the Warmaster’s plans, Loyalist legions were deployed
to intercept their wayward brothers, in the hopes of
protecting the Imperium’s production facilities. Each legion
was met with harsh conditions, with never ending snow
shrouding their vision and awesome glaciers blocking their
path. Yet, even though they were blinded by the planet’s
blizzards, none could deter either side, with one side seeking

to protect, the other, destroy.

Welcome to Blood and Snow,
a 2-game day where Loyalists will
duke it out against Traitor forces on the cold and icy plains of the
mining planet Balor. Balor is one of the many planets responsible
for the excavation of raw materials for the Imperium’s war effort:
will you defend it to the last, or claim it in the name of Horus?
