Underworld Gaming: MTG | Star Trek Prerelease Weekend

"Space: the final frontier." To boldly go where no Magic player has gone before, Underworld Gaming invites you to our Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Prerelease Weekend! Set your phasers to fun, crack open brand-new Play Boosters, and beam down to play with iconic Starfleet captains, legendary starships, and famous alien species before the official launch!

Event Schedule & Timings

  • Friday, November 6th: 6:00 PM

  • Saturday, November 7th: 12:00 PM (Noon)

  • Sunday, November 8th: 12:00 PM (Noon)

How an MTG Prerelease Works

"Things are only impossible until they're not." Prereleases are casual, beginner-friendly events designed for players of all experience levels. The playing field is completely level because no one has played with these cards yet!

  • Receive Your Kit: Upon arrival, you will receive an official Star Trek Prerelease Pack containing 6 Play Boosters and a foil promo card.

  • Build Your Deck: You will have 50 minutes to open your packs and construct a 40-card deck using your pulls and basic lands (provided by the store).

  • Engage: Play 3 to 4 relaxed rounds against fellow gamers. Extra prize support will be awarded throughout the event!

Important Booking Rules

"Logic dictates that spaces are strictly limited." Please review our ticketing terms before securing your spot:

Reservation Only: Tickets must be booked in advance to guarantee table space. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed entry or product.

Event Ticket Terms: Your ticket purchase is for event entry only, not physical product.

No Refunds: We offer strictly no refunds and no physical kits/boosters for no-shows or cancellations. By purchasing your event ticket, you agree to these terms.

Venue & Parking Information

  • Location: Underworld Gaming, Tallaght, D24 NXA8

  • Cheapest Nearby Parking: If you are driving in, the cheapest local parking is at the ALDI car park for just a fiver a day, located a short walk from the store.

"Make it so!" Reserve your spot today, assemble your away team, and welcome to the table.
